9th Bar-Ilan Symposium on the Foundations of Artificial Intelligence

Venue

The ISCOL day (Thursday) will take place at the Nano(technology) building (206), ground floor auditorium. The Search Tutorial participants are also invited to the morning Jepordy! keynote there. The Search Tutorial itself will start at 11:00 in room 101 at the Gonda building (901).

See the interactive BIU map to locate buildings at http://www.biu.ac.il/Tour/ (note: building 206 looks small but it's big by now).

Due to the large number of requests for car permit entries and, unfortunately, the limited number of inside BIU car permits that the Bar-Ilan authorities could issue us, note the following for all BISFAI11 days:

1)      Most articles' authors (besides BIU ones, sorry) should have a car entry permit (automatic) for all days and can enter/park inside the Bar-Ilan campus (though be warned – it's not easy to find empty lots). If you reach the BIU gate and can't automatically enter, see clause 2.

2)      Everyone that requested should have a car entry permit (manual) at the Wahl parking lot (at the side of the Wahl Building, see map at the Venue entry) – it's just opposite the Brain Sciences building (901), though outside the campus. Please give the parking lot guard your name – your car number should be on his BISFAI lists to enable your car entry.

From the Wahl parking lot it's just a few minutes walk through the campus gate in between them to building 901. It's a ~10 minute walk through the campus to the Nano(technology) building (206).

3)      If you requested one, but have no car entry permit (manual) at the Wahl parking lot (see map at the Venue entry), just enter/park there anyway, and inform the BISFAI registration desk of the parking problem you had so it can be solved for you.

Most sessions will take place at the Gonda Multidisciplinary Brain Research Center (inside Bar-Ilan)
(
For those with car entry permits, for travel inside Bar-Ilan,to the Gonda Multidisciplinary Brain Research Center,
see car entry gates and black lines drawn in below map.
